Well apart from a week of being good and managing to run a 7k and an 8k (which nearly made me sick when I got home!) I haven’t been running for months.
I thought I would write a post about what my plan is as a way to hopefully keep me on track. This time last year I was able to run 10k and I ran the Sheffield 10k last October and getting back to that distance is my first goal.
As I said earlier I managed an 8k run a few weeks ago and it made me feel so Ill for a little while after but it was a good run and k was glad to be back to it. Unfortunately I then stopped and started eating really bad again so when I attempted to go out on Saturday I only managed 2k and felt like I was going to collapse.
I plan on running a 10k by the end of October as there is a local race coming up l, so I have around 5 weeks to train for it! I want to go out 3 times a week for this and increase my distance by 0.5k on each run.
So this is where I am at the moment, feeling utterly wobbly and sluggish! I will update after my first run back over on my Instagram account so be sure to follow me over there if you want to keep more up to date with my progress.
I will update here in a couple of weeks and let you know how I am getting on as well.
